One of a set of drawings for a set design by Donald Oenslager for an unrealized production of Wagner's Ring Cycle, ca. 1927. Oenslager's design featured a single, permanant set which, as illustrated in his series of drawings, would be successively transformed from one scene to the next with the use of dramatic lighting effects. Cf. Carnegy.
