  Notes
French artist Anne-Marie Schneider compares her drawing practice to the writing of a diary. In a cartoon style that recalls the work of Jean Dubuffet and Philip Guston she explores a variety of human encounters, exposing the relationship between mental universe and exterior world. Her drawings are inspired from everyday experience as well as literature and political events. In the present work she evokes on a mode at once absurd and tragic, the terror of a schizophrenic bus passenger.
