Partial border illustration for "The Trolls", depicting the verse "And on his left and on his right / A Troll in waiting stands, / Each holding, covered with napkin white, / A fresh dish in his hands". Incorporated are the first words of verse "Sweyn rides from market late to-night", with zoomorphic initial "S", and stylized hand lettering.
