Notes
One of 86 portrait sketches of musicians including the likenesses of most of the leading composers, conductors, and instrumentalists of the first half of the twentieth century. All were done from life, and many appeared in Musical America.
Inscriptions/Markings
Inscribed by the artist in pen and black ink at upper right, "Alberto Ginastera", signed at lower right with initial "D" and dated "March 14, 66"; various printing marks on verso.
