One of nine preparatory drawings for a series of etchings for The Lord's Prayer (Des Gebeth des Herrn), executed by the artist himself, which were first published in Prague in 1826 with accompanying text by Anton Müller.

Inscription: 

In pencil, upper margin at center, "2"; lower margin, "Geheiligt werde dein Name"; recto, in pencil, at upper center, [miniscule illegible handwriting].
