Inscribed in pen and black ink, beneath portrait medallion, "MARIA THERESA / PIA. FELIX / AUGUSTA."; dedication in pen and brown ink titled, "Sacra Reale Apostolica Maest_; dated, "Firenze primo Luglio MDCCXLIV"; and signed, "Andrea Gerini".
