Notes:
This numbered drawing comes from a sketchbook with 600 numbered sheets. However, nothing is known of the artist's work in theatre. He studied with François Picot and Thomas Couture, and exhibited in the Salon from 1848-1863.
A profile of the staircase is pasted along the lower margin.
