No engraving known. Presumably a copy after a lost drawing. The original design by De Vos was engraved, in reverse, by Hendrick Goltzius (1558-1617) as one of a series of twelve martyrdoms of the Apostles.

Inscribed at lower left, in brown ink, "M.D. VOS: F." On gray mount in Fairfax Murray's hand, in pencil, "copy".
