On verso of mount, at upper center, Richardson's pressmarks, in brown ink, "N22. / DD22 / R."; at center, in an old hand, in graphite, "This beautifull and original drawing by Sustris will one day belong to a pretty Austr[i]an girl"; below at right, "Dec. 7 1742 / Richardson".
