Inscribed at upper center in pen and black ink, "Abraham zucht uss nach Gotts Geboth / Mit Sara seinem Weib und Lot / Samt aller Hab, in ander Landt / Sin grechter Glaub ward Gott bekandt / Dorum ihn segnet Gottes Handt / Genis XII"; inscribed at lower right in pen and brown ink, "CM" in ligature (altered from IM?) and in empty shield in graphite, "19".
