Contains 16 drawings (1 by Reutern) and 1 paper cut-out, on 35 leaves (19 of them blank).
One watercolor drawing is mounted on one of the sketchbook leaves; another of the leaves, a watercolor drawing of a standing girl in a black dress and bonnet, was executed by Gerhardt Eilehlm von Reutern, and signed with his monogram, dated, and inscribed by him.
The subjects of the drawings by Grimm include a number of pages with portraits executed in pencil, landscapes executed in pencil or pen and brown or black ink, figural composition executed in watercolor and various other media.
