Lettered on the double sacks by the artist, in red chalk, "ERRORI D'ALTRI" and "ERRORI MEI"; inscribed at center of upper edge, in an old hand, in brown ink, "dionisis[o?]". Numbered in lower right corner, in brown ink, and repeated in graphite, "212". Inscribed on verso, by donor, in graphite, "Parmigianino"; numbered "882" and "74".
