The sketch on the verso is probably a study for the Christ child in "Madonna with Child Crowning St. Cecilia," of ca. 1604, in S. Agnese al Vignano, Siena (Adolfo Venturi, "Storia dell'arte italiana", IX, 7, fig. 595).
