Sale, London, Sotheby's, 27 April 1960, no. 3; Mrs. L. Frolich, London; P. & D. Colnaghi and Co., London.
Description:

The location of this topographical view remains unidentified. There seems to be a small harbor in the distance at upper left behind what appear to be canons lined up behind a fort on a promontory. Coastal scenes are unusual in Cibo’s oeuvre, as are drawings with so extensive a use of watercolor.
