Study for Plate 19 of the Diverse Maniere. A preliminary drawing is Kunstbibliothek, Berlin, HdZ 8765; this is one of very few designs for the chimneypiece plates that can be traced through multiple sketches.
Drawing is on verso of a fragment of an etching after Guercino (1591-1666).
