Although long attributed to Piranesi, this drawing is more likely by the professional draftsman Nicolas François-Daniel Lhuillier. The capital studied in the drawing appears to be one from the interior of the Pantheon.

Watermark: Fleur-de-lis inside double circle, centered on chain line.
