This view, typical of the pen and ink landscapes for which Bazzicaluva is best known, is a variant version of a drawing dated 1633 (a rare instance of the artist dating his work), now in the Biblioteca Marucelliana, Florence.

Inscribed on mount beneath drawing in pen and black ink, "Remigio Cantagallina".
