Watermark: none visible through lining.
A crude copy of the drawing, inscribed "J Collaert 196" and tentatively attributed to Johannes Collaert (1621/2-before 1687), is in the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum, Cologne (Inv. no. Z 1427).

Inscription: 

Inscribed in lower right corner, in graphite, "Pe 2 ["e" in superscript followed by "2" in subscript]"]. On the verso of the old mount, at upper left, in red ink, "No. ["o" in superscript] 4."; below this, in graphite, "1436"; at center, also in graphite, "30 19 ["30" in superscript followed by "9" in subscript]"; and below this, again in graphite, "Vouwerman".
