Rembrandt (1606-1669) corrected Renesse's original drawing, presumably when Renesse was in his stuido ca. 1649.

Inscription: 

Numbered on the verso, in graphite, at upper left, "16"; and at lower center,"10 ["10" underlined and in superscript] H ["H" in subscript]; on the old mount beneath the sheet, at lower left, in the hand of Arthur Hind, in graphite, "Eckhout"; and [?where], in another hand, 10 ["10" in superscript] H ["H" in subscript]".
