Signed and dated at lower left, outside of framing line, in gray ink, "Petri: J Liendr del. ad. viv. 1750"; at lower right, in gray ink, "1751". Inscribed on the verso, at lower center, in black ink over graphite, "het Casteel te búúren"; and at lower left, also in black ink, illegible fragment (damaged by former hinge).
Watermark: Fleur-de-lis within a crowed shield, over letters "VDL", (Strasbourg lily).
