Illustrated catalogue of an anonymous auction held on December 13, 1773

Saint Aubin made 186 drawings on thirty-four numbered pages interleaved with blank pages on which he noted the prices and the names of the buyers (or the words "non vendu"). Both this sale catalogue and Acc. No. 1997.6 are examples of the booklets the artist illustrated with diminutive sketches in the margins.
