The drawing was used for the figure of the seated girl in the center of the painting "Group of Men and Women with Bird Cages", formerly in the Lord Michelham collection and now in the Getty Museum, Malibu, Calif.
According to Ananoff, there was a very similar version of the present drawing in the possession of Stephen Higgons, Paris.
