In tarot, The Magician card portrays a cunning showman who crafts a reality to wow crowds. Join world-class mentalist Matt Cooper for a performance that takes inspiration from The Magician. Gather beneath the zodiac ceiling in the Morgan’s historic library for an evening where everything is real, but none of it true.
Matt Cooper is an internationally recognized mentalist, an art form that uses language, persuasion, and influence, together with magic, to create a powerful simulation of mental phenomena. For over a decade, he’s been performing for a variety of audiences, including celebrities and Fortune 500 companies, and has made numerous television appearances.
This program takes place in J. Pierpont Morgan’s Library. Doors to the Morgan will open at 6 PM. Attendees are invited to view the exhibition Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions before the program begins. Doors to the East Room of the Historic Library will open at 7 PM.
