Explore connections between tarot, neuroscience, and intuition through a two-session online course celebrating the exhibition Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions.

Session 1: Delve into the history of tarot as a tool for divination, personal development, and creativity with Mary K. Greer, author of 12 books on tarot and magic.

Session 2: Discover what happens inside your brain when you look at a tarot card in this lecture and interactive session with Siddharth Ramakrishnan, author of The Neuroscience of Tarot.

Mary K. Greer is an independent scholar, writer, teacher, and professional tarot consultant with over 56 years of tarot experience. She is the author of 12 books on tarot and on magic, including Tarot for Your Self. Greet is the recipient of the International Tarot Lifetime Achievement Award, the Mercury Award, and COVR award for best divination book.

Siddharth Ramakrishnan is a neuroscientist, artist, and educator. He is the chair of neuroscience at the University of Puget Sound and a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award and W. M. Keck Foundation Award. An avid tarot reader for the last 20 years, Ramakrishnan explores the intersections of science, art, and mysticism. This research led him to design and create the Neuro Tarot deck inspired by the major arcana and infused with neuroscience concepts.

This is an online course. Recordings of each session will be made available for ticket holders via a password-protected link through September 12. Attendees will receive a Zoom link on the day of the classes.
