Artist Bio:
Artist and bookmaker Paul Johnson makes colorful pop-up books as sculptures that can be taken apart and put back together again, all without glue, using paper hinges and pop-up techniques.

Johnson’s newest work is ‘The Book of Morgan.’ The sculptural cover is based on the historic interiors of J. Pierpont Morgan's Library. The book’s pop-up pages are inspired by books and authors in the library’s collection, including medieval books of hours, Phillis Wheatley, Henry David Thoreau, and Lewis Carroll’s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

This program is open to all visitors and suggested for adults and children ages 6 years and older.
