Ticket Sales & Refunds
All sales are final; tickets are nonrefundable.
In the event that the Morgan cancels a performance, ticket holders will be notified via email with information on refunds or rescheduling.
Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may give your ticket to someone else. The Morgan does not handle ticket transfers.
The Morgan is not responsible for tickets purchased or transferred through unauthorized third-party sellers. Any disputes arising from third-party transfers must be resolved between the original purchaser and the new ticket holder.
Sold out concerts will have a waitlist. All waitlisted tickets will be sold prior to the concert. There is no in-person standby line for waitlisted tickets.
Seating & Late Arrival
All concerts in Gilder Lehrman Hall have reserved seating unless otherwise noted. Guests are asked to sit only in their designated seats, as indicated on your ticket.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance. Please arrive with ample time to be seated before the performance begins. Doors will close promptly at the posted performance time.
Late seating is not permitted. There are no intermissions. Guests who leave the Hall during the performance will not be readmitted. Check the list of programs for up-to-date program information.
Seating in the Hall is raked and some guests may find it steep. Upon selecting tickets, guests will be notified how many steps are between the Hall’s entrance and your selected seat. By purchasing a ticket you agree to the placement of the seat.
Morgan staff will be available to escort guests to their seats via elevator if needed.
Accessibility
Large print programs are available for all concerts.
Assistive listening devices for concerts in Gilder Lehrman Hall are available as capacity allows.
Electronic Devices
All electronic devices must be silenced prior to entering Gilder Lehrman Hall. Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited during performances.
Coat Check & Personal Items
Complimentary coat check is available at the main entrance.
Food and drink are not permitted in Gilder Lehrman Hall. Water fountains are available outside of the Hall. The café is not open before or after concerts.
