Join us on site for an evening of history, art-making, and one of a kind hands-on experiences. 

Discover some of the Morgan’s finest medieval and Renaissance manuscripts and explore how books were made before the printing press. Use traditional materials to grind natural materials into pigments, mix watercolor paints, apply 22-karat gold leaf, and create an original painted initial inspired by the Morgan’s manuscript collection. 

Participants are invited to apply for the 26–27 Morgan Book Project, a free museum-school partnership program. 

Attendees are eligible for 2 CTLE credits.
