The King of Spades and the Knave of Clubs stand flanking a tower built of beer mugs an a barrel with a sash that reads "Native oysters," with a steaming bowl and spoon on the top. Around them are scattered loaves of bread, plates of oysters, teacups, playing cards, books, and a large printed ribbon that reads "Verbum sat sapienti.'
