Two additional variant states of this print exist, one with Lord Tyrconnel saying "A good night to your R . . . l High . . . s!!! Bon Soir, my lady; I'm no peeping Tom of Coventry"; the other with the caption title altered to read: The accommodating spouse; - the kind cuckold sent to Conventry; - coming York over her; - or what you like. Cf. George.

Summary:

Print shows Lady Tyrconnel in bed, baring her breast and looking amorously at the Duke of York, who is climbing into the bed with her. Her husband (in back view) leaves the room by a door on the right, saying, "A good night to your R . . . l High . . . s!!! Bon Soir, my lady; I'll be back to breakfast! so let the butter'd Bun be ready for Jerry." The Duke's breeches and military coat, with its star, are on a chair by the door.
