Summary:
In an oval design, a dejected Fox stands with folded arms before the padlocked gate of the Treasury. Bills on the wall behind him are titled "Last Dying Speech" and "Gamester." A reference to his resignation upon Shelburne's appointment to succeed Rockingham. 5 lines beneath the title reproduce Wolsey's soliloquy from Henry the Eighth.
