Title supplied by cataloger.
Proof made from two unfinished blocks, on India paper, of a wood engraving by Swain after an illustration by Du Maurier for M.E. Braddon's novel "Eleanor's victory", published in Once a week, 1863, p. 351.
Burnished proof consists of two separate impressions from the upper and lower unjoined blocks comprising the single illustration, with white areas excised, probably for creation of an overlay proof from the unfinished blocks.
