Summary

Print shows a Columbus seated at a table and demonstrating to a group of variously vexed or amused onlookers the means whereby an egg may be made to stand by breaking it. In the foreground, the table is set with a platter of eggs and eels, and a dog stands with his front feet on the table's edge.
