Summary

A half length portrait in an oval of the Duke of Cumberland in profile to the left, scarcely caricatured, but with a half-closed eye which gives an expression of arrogance. He wears a hat whose curving brim shades his eyes and rests on his high coat-collar. His chin is swathed in a stock, and an eye-glass hangs from a ribbon.
