This is a reproductive engraving by Blake. It represents the final version of Hogarth's painting The Beggar's Opera (Yale Center for British Art). This state of Blake's print appeared in The Original and Genuine Works of William Hogarth. London: Boydell and Company, ca. 1795. This was the 2nd edition of Boydell's edition of Hogarth's works.
Publication line trimmed off, as is the inscription "From the Original Picture, in the Collection of his Grace the Duke of Leeds".
