Summary

Probably a Dutch print published in the 1570s or late 1560s, when the Prince of Orange was involved in opposing the Duke of Alba's rule in the Netherlands. The protestant Prince of Orange is here portrayed as a hero, whose virtue is contrasted with the corruption of the catholic Duke of Alba.
