Summary: 

An altar, above which is depicted a crucifix and around which are grouped the four central figures of the design, is inscribed with two columns of text in German.
The Reformation was initiated in 1517 with the 95 theses of Martin Luther. This is a centenary print of events in 1517. The second figure from left resembles portraits of Luther.
