The special copies at 40 francs were sold unsigned. Some were subsequently signed by George Antheil, some by Ezra Pound, and some by both. Cf. Gallup.
Unsold copies...were later issued with a buff paper label pasted over the imprint on the title-page [within ornamental border]: CONTACT EDITIONS, 29, quai d'Anjou, Paris. Later writings revealed that Contact Editions acted as the distributor. Cf. Gallup.
