On the flyleaf is an autograph poem, two stanzas, in Italian, headed "G. Polidori a Fanny sua figlia" dated "Londra 20 Dicembre, 1824."
Three inscriptions: "F.M.L.R. [Francis Mary Lavinia Rossetti] to her dear Daughter Christina Georgina Rossetti. Septbr. 29th 1846; "W.M. Rossetti from Christina's books, 1894"; "This is the copy of Shakespeare wh. Gabriel & the rest of us used frequently to read from about the time when G was some 8 years of age. W.M.R. 1905".
The fourth generation is represented by the late Signora Olivia Rossetti Agresti's pencilled initials.
