Piscatorie eclogs and Elisa have separate title-pages, with alternate title for Elisa: An elegie upon the unripe decease of Sr. Antonie Irby. T.p. for Elisa has emblematic woodcut vignette of funeral urn with Latin anagram.
Purple island is an elaborate allegorical poem describing the human body, with anatomical notes in the margin.
Signatures: [par.]⁴[-par. 1, blank] 2[par.]⁴ A-Z⁴[-Z4, blank]; pi²[-pi1 or pi2] A-L⁴, M-N² O-R⁴.
Thomas Buck and Roger Daniel were printers to the university between 1632 and 1640.
