Contains the epitome of the first volume of the Commentaries composed by Jonas Philomusus (pseudonym), who has been identified by Barbier with J. Gonthier of Andernach, apparently on insufficient grounds, cf. Christie. An epitome of the second volume, composed by J. Guinterius, appeared in 1539 (Basileae, Westheimer).
Printed by Platter, perhaps alone, because only his device appears on the last page (see Charles W. Heckethorn, Printers of Basle, p. 175).
Includes index.
