The general t.p. is repeated before each play in addition to the special English half-title and special t.p., which appears in each instance to be the text of the original t.p., but has border ill. by Leloir, Leman, etc. Frontispiece portrait of Molière in v. 1 etched by P. Le Rat after J. Leman; other plates etched by E. Champollion and A.A. Géry-Bichard, among others. All ill. (including head- and tail-pieces), added etched t.p. in v. 1, special half-titles and title pages are in two ink versions. One version is accompanied by guard sheet with descriptive letterpress. One version of each head- and tail-piece is mounted.
Each play has separate paging.
"Of this edition 550 copies have been printed ... 50 copies on Japan paper, numbered 1 to 50, 500 copies on papier verge de Hollande, numbered 51 to 550"--Verso of half-title, v. 1.
