Provenance
Bossuet's Bible with annotations and comments in his autograph, on margins and preface to N.T., also his bookplate. This volume belonged successively to Bossuet's nephew, the Bishop of Troyes; then the Abbé Delarmotte, vicar general of Troyes who devised all of Bossuet's papers to the Bibliothèque Nationale, but retained this book; Bondet, who edited Bossuet's works; Dom Defrois; Lamy, a bookdealer; Cardinal Fesch; Brayeux, a dealer; Chondé, a dealer; and Floquet, a biographer (of Bossuet?)
