Provenance
On verso of t.p. are written the deaths and births of members of the Clifton family of Moulsham, Essex, dating from 1803-06. "Henry Clifton, silk dyer, Lond. Feb. 7, 1791" written on last flyleaf; "Jane Haswell her Bible" written on t.p. and Howland in a 16th cent. hand at the top. On fol. 71v is written: "Wm. Arnold of Southampton, Dec. 15th 1836". On the last flyleaves are statements of the deaths of the Haswell family from 1730-1785.
