A collection of Linotype typographic specimens in the form of large broadsides (some folded) for Bodoni book, Benedictine book, Cloister, Garamond, and Caslon old face.
Designed by Russell Bacon, according to a notice in The American Printer, Jan. 1927, p. 50-51, which reproduces three of the broadsides.
Printed in black and red.
Title on outer wrapper: Bodoni book.
The Bodoni book specimen is printed on a folded sheet of heavy cream paper, which serves as a wrapper for the other broadside specimens.
The date 'October, 1926' and the print code '319.13' appear at the lower left and lower right corners respectively on the Bodoni book, Benedictine book, and Caslon broadsides.
