Unique artist's book featuring four poems by Neruda; with 9 original drawings from Manuel Neri's Lucca series mounted to leaves, created by the artist in 1983 using charcoal, water-based pigments, graphite, oil-paint stick, and elements of collage; the handwritten text inscribed and illuminated throughout by Thomas Ingmire.

Full blue goatskin leather hand tooled and stamped in gold and palladium leaf with multi-color leather onlays comprising letterforms; issued in blue Japanese cloth-covered clamshell box with leather spine label stamped with multi-color lettering. Designed by Daniel E. Kelm and executed by Kelm, Kylin Lee, and others at Wide Awake Garage, Easthampton, Massachusetts.
