Part of Richard Minsky's The Bill of Rights limited edition set, a collection of 10 bookworks and a broadside that exemplify and comment on the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution.
Amendment V states "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

Summary
An altered copy of Branches by Mitch Cullin, illustrated by Ryuzo Kikushima (Sag Harbor, NY : The Permanent Press, ©2000) rebound by Richard Minsky. With color prints of the 16 illustrations by Ryuzo Kikushima tipped in over the black and white reproductions in the book. Housed in a clamshell box covered in same beige fabric as the book, with a black leather holster bearing the foil stamped text of the Fifth Amendment sewn to the cover.
Binding
Bound in beige fabric with a pocket sewn to the cover, to which a metal Sheriff badge and a plastic name badge with the book title have been affixed; 9mm bullet holes have been shot through the cover by Richard Minsky.
