Summary
Two young women and a well dressed man in tophat and monocle, standing by two cafe tables; the woman in the foreground appears to be rising from her chair as she lights a cigarette; with a remarque in the margin at left, showing two men standing in front of a picture that has been hung crookedly on a very long wire, the smaller of the two saying "Avez-vous vu mon trouil'bert [i.e. Trouillebert]?".
