Accompanying print (Raven V), illustrating "This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing / To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core..." cataloged separately as PML 199033.3.
The library also holds an original drawing by Natalie Frank used in the companion volume (see 2023.92).
"The total edition is limited to 300 copies for sale with 26 lettered hors commerce copies reserved for participants in the project. Of these, 250 copies in the Fine Press edition are presented in slipcases, and 50 Deluxe edition copies, sponsored by Susan Jaffe Tane, are presented in full-cloth boxes. All copies incorporate ovals of pulp paper handmade by John Sullivan at Logos Graphics, San Francisco, ... Deluxe copies feature a bas-relief cameo of the author"--Colophon.

"Designed and produced in San Francisco by the staff--Brian Ferrett, Megan Gibes, Chris Godek, Jeffrey Raymond, Blake Riley, Rochelle Youk and apprentices Kris Branco and Jocelyn Lee--with assistance from Rolph Blythe, Ted Gioia, Derek Magsanay, and Huong Trinh. The paper is mouldmade Magnani Ingres 90 gsm printed by letterpress from Monotype Van Dijck cast onsite with handset Legend for display. The edition consists of two illustrated volumes: a selection of poetry and prose with a frontispiece and mulitple monochrome vignettes which is accompanied by a second volume, "The Raven," with seven full-page drawings in color. All artwork was reproduced by offset lithography under the supervision of Susan Schaefer at AMP Printing."--Colophon.

Volume 1 bound in boards with gray paper sides and light blue cloth spine, decorated with a creeping ivy motif by Natalie Frank, and a recessed three-dimensional paper cameo crafted by John Sullivan at Logos Graphics, San Francisco, using pulp comprised of inclusions and pigments of bricks excavated from Poe's New York City homestead ; accompanying volume bound in light blue cloth-covered boards, with foil-stamped decorative titling. Together, housed in publisher's maroon brown cloth box with pictorial orange paper label. Accompanying print housed in publisher's pale blue folder, as issued.
