This copy includes Legrand's etchings in 4 states, including the preliminary etched state before retouching in drypoint and further working in aquatint, some bearing the monogram "LB" in the plate, presumably referring to Louis Barthou, along with suites of the first and second states before and after letterpress.
With a set of enlarged impressions of the process-block textual illustrations after Legrand's drawings, printed on japon paper without the text, bound in volume 3, with title page: Tirage à part des illustrations des "Poèmes à l'eau forte" édités par Gustave Pellet, à Paris.
