With four suites of Legrands etchings in multiple states bound into the text, including a set of remarque proofs, hand colored impressions signed by the artist, and a set of signed impressions bearing the ownership stamp of Gustave Pellet. With an original signed chalk drawing by Legrand bound in at front of volume.
With a set of impressions of the head- and tailpieces, initials, and vignettes after Legrand printed without the text and bound in at the end of the volume.
Copy also includes two signed impressions of Legrand's etching "Le Salut Militaire" (Arwas 72), one hand colored and the other bearing the ownership stamp of Gustave Pellet; the etching produced independent of the book and reproducing the figure from the tailpiece vignette on page 59.
Color process prints of Legrand's drawings for Cours de danse fin de siècle, along with Erastène Ramiro's text, appeared in the May 10, 1891 supplement of the periodical "Gil Blas illustre", where the piece appeared under the title "Les excentricités de la danse."
